The Pittsburgh Penguins placed veteran goaltender Tristan Jarry on waivers Wednesday.

Jarry, 29, is 8-8-4 with a 3.31 goals-against average and an .886 save percentage in 22 games this season.

The two-time All-Star surrendered three goals on 17 shots in Tuesday's 4-2 home loss to the Seattle Kraken, including third-period goals 49 seconds apart by Jamie Oleksiak and Eeli Tol
